Different lining areas need different material checks
A surface appearance does not determine the final use. Confirm how the material will be cut, stitched, laminated and worn inside the shoe.
Collar Lining
Discuss hand feel, thickness, backing and the shape of the padded collar.
Quarter Lining
Confirm the panel construction, stitching process and target material support.
Tongue Lining
Match the roll material to tongue foam, lamination and seam construction.

Choose lining materials by the actual component
Our microfiber PU and imitation microfiber-backed PU groups are primarily offered for shoe uppers. Stretch PU is offered for edge binding and tongue covers. These are different uses from the inside lining; a stretch color card is not evidence of a suitable lining article.
For shoe linings, ask us to match a separate PU lining material or pigskin lining to the marked component. Pigskin lining photographs are not yet available here. Confirm the selected material using a physical sample; do not use the stretch cards as a lining stock list.
Send your lining referenceFrom a reference sample to a lining trial
Mark the inside shoe component and the side facing the foot. Compare the actual lining sample with the intended foam, adhesive, stitching and adjacent layers. A tongue cover or edge-binding material must not be substituted for an inside lining without a separate assessment.
Selection and sample questions
- Are stretch PU, upper materials and lining materials interchangeable? No. They are offered for different applications. Identify the exact component and confirm a separate lining article and an assembled sample before approval. Pigskin lining and PU lining are distinct material options.
- How should buyers balance cost and performance? Compare qualified candidates on the same quotation basis, not price alone.
- What should be confirmed when requesting samples? Check sample availability and courier arrangements before dispatch. Material samples and custom sampling are free. The buyer pays shipping.
What to send for a lining request
- Exact shoe component and construction photo
- Preferred material family or current sample
- YX card code and exact color number, or a marked swatch photo
- Stretch direction, recovery requirement and planned foam or backing lamination
- Thickness, backing and hand-feel reference
- Color standard and surface reference
- Estimated quantity, destination and test items
MOQ, roll width, sampling time and production lead time are confirmed after the material construction is selected.
Confirm the physical sample and order terms
Courier charges are confirmed before dispatch. Lead time is confirmed after the material, color, quantity and sample requirements are agreed. If testing is required, the test method, limits, sample requirements and arrangement are confirmed for the specific project. Material samples and custom sampling are free. The buyer pays shipping.
Construction
Face, base, coating and total thickness are checked together.
Color
Final color is approved against a physical swatch or agreed standard.
MOQ
Quantity is confirmed by material, backing, color and development work.
Testing
Test items are agreed before a third-party test is arranged.
