What to confirm before ordering
- Material construction
- Face, backing, fiber composition and any laminated layers. Similar trade names do not guarantee the same construction.
- Thickness and roll size
- Confirm thickness, tolerance, usable width and roll length for the selected reference. A photographed gauge reading is not a bulk specification.
- Color and texture
- Quote the pattern name, card reference and color number together. Some cards contain more than one pattern.
- Quantity and timing
- MOQ is confirmed per material and color. Lead time is confirmed after the material, color, quantity and sample requirements are agreed; special testing is agreed separately.
- Testing and restricted substances
- Send the standard, test method and limit values. Special requirements need custom confirmation and are not blanket certifications for this catalog.
- Supply format
- Roll goods only. We do not supply finished shoes, outsoles, laces or other non-leather shoe accessories.

Material sourcing questions
Are imitation microfiber and microfiber PU the same?
No. We keep them in separate sourcing groups. A similar-looking back does not establish the fiber or layer structure. Compare a backing photo and cut edge, then approve the physical sample.
Does a color card represent one material?
Not always. One card can show several colors and more than one surface pattern. Include the card reference, pattern and color in your request; do not assume one thickness applies to every swatch.
Can I specify REACH-related requirements?
Yes. Send the relevant restricted substances, limits and testing requirements. We confirm feasibility, custom order terms and reporting before an order. No catalog-wide compliance claim is made.
Which material should I use for my shoe?
Start with the shoe part, assembly process and target feel. Review upper materials or lining materials, then request samples for your own development and testing.
